Titled 'Flow," this set of 18 curved ceramic sculptures were handcrafted by me, from English porcelain, right here in my studio. Each abstract wall art piece takes a super delicate touch to make. No two pieces can ever be the same, because I let the soft clay itself dictate part of the form. Their shadows move as the light changes throughout the day and I like how that gives them a life of their own. The softness of the clay is reflected in the forms, then fired super hot in my kiln to preserve their curves as super hard finished porcelain.

The organic sculptural forms stand out from the wall and will look soft and minimal against light or neutral backgrounds or dramatic against rich, dark backgrounds.

Each piece measures between 6 - 11cm ( 2.25 - 4.5 inches), so arranged as pictured in the first image the set would take up approximately w 69 x h 63 x 6 cm ( Approx W27 x H25 x D2.5 inches ) If this isn't big enough for your space, get in touch to commission a larger set!

It's really easy and fun to arrange the set. If you are unsure of how to position them, then I recommend cutting pieces of paper or using post it notes to the same sizes as the pieces and temporarily stick them to the wall to arrange them before installing the work permanently. This lets you play around with the arrangement, and take a step back to make sure you get them in positions you are happy with. Get creative and adapt them to your space, re-create the arrangements I made here in the photos, or get in touch for design advice. This set is available in plain white. Each will hang over a single suitable, flat headed, nail or screw in your wall that is securely fitted in a slight downwards angle. In high traffic or vibration areas I recommend the use of a suitable product such as hot glue, Blu Tac, tile adhesive, mastic or silicone for extra security, but of course this will vary according to your space, environment, requirements and wall surface and it may well not be necessary in your environment.

Each piece is handcrafted so there will be some variation from the sculptures you see in the image compared to the pieces you receive. But each piece will be unique and carefully made so you can be assured that yours will be every bit as beautiful.
